Xbox Game Store Embraces Cloud Gaming Power with GeForce Now Integration

Microsoft Expands Cloud Gaming Options with GeForce NOW Integration

Microsoft has announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA, integrating its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service into the Xbox game pages. This move expands the cloud gaming choices available to Xbox users, who previously had to rely solely on Xbox Cloud Gaming.

According to a recent blog post, Xbox has officially partnered with NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Boosteriod to make first-party Xbox games accessible to a wider audience. As part of this collaboration, users can now select GeForce NOW as their preferred cloud gaming platform on the web, alongside Xbox Cloud Gaming.

This integration enables GeForce NOW users to access first-party Xbox titles. It also allows Microsoft to extend the reach of its games to a larger player base. “Xbox has partnered with NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Boosteriod to bring first-party titles to more players,” the Xbox blog stated. “If you own any of the supported Xbox games on Steam and have an account for either streaming service, you can play your game in the cloud from anywhere.”

Xbox users can link their Steam accounts to NVIDIA GeForce NOW or Boosteriod to access this feature. By leveraging NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW, Xbox users can play their Steam and Xbox games seamlessly through the Xbox store.

This integration offers increased flexibility and choice for Xbox users, empowering them to select the cloud gaming platform that best suits their preferences. It also reinforces Microsoft’s commitment to providing a diverse and accessible gaming ecosystem.
