Pune Court Issues Non-Bailable Warrant Against Manoj Jarange in Fraud Case
Pune: A Pune court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Manoj Jarange, a resident of Parbhani, in a fraud case. Jarange failed to appear before the court despite being summoned.
The case dates back to 2018, when a man from Pune filed a complaint against Jarange, alleging him of cheating him of Rs. 10 lakh. Jarange had reportedly promised the complainant to invest the money in a profitable venture, but failed to do so.
The complainant’s lawyer, Advocate A.J. Vaidya, presented evidence before the court, including documents and text messages, to support his client’s allegations. The court then directed Jarange to appear before it on January 23, 2023.
However, Jarange failed to appear in court on the scheduled date, prompting the judge to issue a non-bailable warrant against him. The warrant authorizes the police to arrest Jarange and bring him before the court immediately.
Advocate Vaidya said, “We are determined to pursue this case to its logical conclusion and bring justice to my client. We believe that the non-bailable warrant will help expedite the process.”
Jarange is currently on the run and the police are searching for him. It is not known whether he will surrender to the court or challenge the warrant.
The issuance of the non-bailable warrant sends a strong message to those involved in fraudulent activities that they will not be allowed to evade justice.
