Amazon Prime Video Unveils Revamped UI with Enhanced Features
Amazon Prime Video, India’s second-largest video streaming service after Netflix, has undergone a significant revamp, boasting a refreshed user interface (UI) and AI-powered recommendations.
The обновленная UI features a new content bar at the top, providing quick access to sections like Home, Movies, TV Shows, Sports, Live TV, and Prime Video, which showcases content included with the Prime membership.
Additionally, a dedicated button allows users to easily add on-demand subscriptions such as Max, Paramount, and Crunchyroll, further expanding their viewing options.
Amazon Prime Video has also integrated Large Language Models (LLMs) to provide detailed synopses for its content. This allows users to quickly understand what they’re watching without extensive browsing.
The platform now also offers personalized content recommendations tailored to each user’s preferences using generative AI. Recommendations are categorized based on user tastes, such as “Top 10 in India” or similar suggestions.
“We’ve been listening to our customers and reviewing feedback, and it’s clear that many are seeking a more intuitive streaming experience,” said Kam Keshmiri, Vice President of Design at Prime Video. “With these improvements, we’re providing an easy-to-navigate entertainment destination where users can discover new titles, enjoy favorites, and manage their add-on subscriptions effortlessly.”
These UI and feature enhancements position Amazon Prime Video as a strong competitor to Netflix, which has long been known for its user-friendly design. The ability to add on-demand subscriptions directly within the Prime Video app adds convenience for users seeking a wider range of content.
