Nitin Gadkari Warns BJP Leaders, Says ‘Congress Fate Awaits if Slacking Continues’
New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari has issued a stark warning to party members, stating that if they fail to pull up their socks, the BJP could face a similar fate as the Congress.
Addressing a gathering of BJP functionaries in Bhopal, Gadkari expressed concern over the growing complacency and lack of enthusiasm among the rank and file. He emphasized that the party must remain vigilant and continue to work tirelessly if it wants to retain public trust.
“If we become complacent like the Congress, our days in power will be numbered,” Gadkari said. “We need to constantly innovate, connect with the masses, and address their concerns. Only then can we ensure the BJP’s continued success.”
Gadkari’s remarks come at a time when the BJP is facing a series of challenges, including rising inflation, the ongoing farmers’ protest, and the recent by-election loss in Himachal Pradesh. He urged party workers to focus on resolving these issues and to strengthen the party’s grassroots base.
“We must never take voter support for granted,” Gadkari said. “We have to earn their votes by working for them and delivering on our promises. If we fail to do so, we will face the consequences.”
Gadkari’s warning has been met with mixed reactions within the BJP. Some leaders have welcomed it as a timely reminder of the importance of hard work and dedication, while others have expressed concerns that Gadkari is exaggerating the challenges faced by the party.
It remains to be seen whether Gadkari’s call to action will spur the BJP into renewed action and prevent it from falling into the same trap as the Congress.
