Supreme Court to Hear NEET UG Exam Irregularities and Malpractices Case Today
New Delhi: The Supreme Court is set to hear petitions alleging irregularities and malpractices in the conduct of the NEET UG medical entrance examination today. The petitioners have raised concerns over various issues, including the alleged cancellation of exams without prior notice, discrepancies in the application process, and unfair allocation of examination centers.
The apex court had earlier admitted the petitions and issued a notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA), the body responsible for conducting the NEET examination. The petitioners have sought a judicial inquiry into the alleged irregularities and a directive to NTA to ensure transparency and fairness in future examinations.
The NTA has denied the allegations and has stated that the NEET UG examination was conducted fairly and without any irregularities. The agency has also filed its response to the petitions, defending its actions and policies.
A team of lawyers representing the NTA and the petitioners will present their arguments before the Supreme Court judges today. The outcome of the hearing will have significant implications for the future conduct of the NEET UG examination and the rights of medical aspirants.
