On August 7th, Tata Motors will unveil the production-ready Curvv. This showcase will include both the diesel and electric vehicle (EV) variants in India.

Vehicle Details

* Diesel: Unveiled in its production form at the Bharat Mobility Expo, this variant will be launched alongside the EV version.
* EV: Powered by Tata’s Acti.ev platform, this variant will feature a larger battery capacity than the Nexon EV. It will also incorporate a frunk and a flat floor.
* ICE: Initially available only with a 1.5-liter diesel engine, a 1.2-liter turbo petrol variant will join the lineup at a later date.

Dimensions and Features

* With a length of 4308mm, the Curvv slots between the Nexon and Harrier in size.
* It offers 422 liters of boot space.
* Expected features include an enlarged touchscreen for the EV, a digital instrument cluster shared by both variants, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.

Styling and Competition

* The Curvv EV will receive distinct styling cues compared to the ICE version, similar to the Nexon.
* It will be priced higher than the Nexon and compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
